Clear Trials is a simple tool that helps you better understand the documents you receive in a research study — things like instructions, schedules, diaries, device guides, and updates.
You upload a document, and the tool gives you an easier-to-read version, visuals, audio summaries, and answers to common questions.

Is this free for me to use?

Yes — Clear Trials is completely free for participants.
There are no fees, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs

Does this replace my study documents?

No. You will still use the official documents your study team gives you. Clear Trials simply helps explain those materials so they’re easier to understand.

Will this affect my place in the study?

No. Using Clear Trials will not impact your eligibility, enrollment, compensation, or relationship with the study team.
It’s an optional tool designed to make participating easier and less overwhelming.

Do you store my personal information?

No! We never store or use your name or anything that could identify you. We also do not create a participant account unless you want one for convenience. Your privacy comes first.

Which documents can I upload to Clear Trials?

You can upload the study documents that tend to be the trickiest to understand.

Right now, we works best with:

• Visit instructions (what will happen at my next visit?)

• Medication or dosing instructions (when to take it, how to take it)

• Informed Consent Form (what am I signing up for?)

• Device instructions (charging, using, troubleshooting)

• Concomitant medication restrictions (which meds to avoid)
